TAIC begins with one engineer’s obsession with a single metal. Trained as an aerospace engineer, our founder Mingjun Bai spent his early career working with titanium — the metal celebrated as the "space metal," as strong as steel yet remarkably light.
What truly ignited his vision was not its strength, but its remarkable biocompatibility. As one of the few metals the human body does not reject, titanium belongs not just to satellites and surgical implants, but to the very sanctuary of daily health.
In 1994 he founded a vacuum-flask business — one of China’s earliest — and has spent three decades perfecting vacuum insulation and precision metal-forming. But titanium never left his mind. In 2014 he led his team to Japan and the United Kingdom to study titanium at its source. Two years — and tonnes of trial material — later, in 2016, the first pure-titanium vacuum flask was born, and with it the TAIC brand: aerospace-grade pure titanium, brought home to the tea table.

The Founder Behind TAIC
TAIC is the work of one person’s thirty-year obsession with a single craft. In 1994, Mingjun Bai founded Noble as one of China’s earliest vacuum-flask makers — and has spent every year since pushing what a drinking vessel can be.
An aerospace engineer by training, he grew a modest workshop into a national high-tech enterprise, and the first in China to perfect tailless vacuum brazing. In 2014 his team travelled to Japan and the United Kingdom to study titanium; two years and ten tonnes of trial material later, the first pure-titanium vacuum flask was born.
Today that same titanium mastery even reaches aerospace thermal protection, while his titanium drinkware leads China’s market with more than 150 patents, earning the industry’s “hidden champion” title. TAIC is where aerospace-grade pure titanium comes home to the tea table.
